Early morning departure from Agadir in a private 4x4, heading inland through changing landscapes of the Anti-Atlas. The route passes traditional villages, dry riverbeds, and desert plains, offering a first introduction to southern Morocco. Arrival in Agdez, gateway to the Draa Valley, famous for its vast palm groves and historic kasbahs. Time to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this oasis town.

2Erg Chigaga
After breakfast, continue through the spectacular Draa Valley, one of the longest palm valleys in Morocco. Stop along the way to admire kasbahs and oasis scenery. Reach M’Hamid, the last village before the deep Sahara, then continue off-road by 4x4 toward the vast dunes of Erg Chegaga, one of Morocco’s most remote and wild desert areas. Arrival at the desert camp in the late afternoon. Enjoy a sunset over the dunes, followed by dinner and a traditional Saharan evening under the stars.

Wake up early to witness sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, depart across the desert on a scenic off-road route, crossing dry lakebeds (Lake Iriki) and vast desert plains. This adventurous day highlights the raw beauty and silence of the Sahara, far from mass tourism. Arrival in Foum Zguid in the afternoon, a small desert town at the edge of the Anti-Atlas.

After breakfast, begin the return journey toward Agadir via Tata and Tagmout, crossing dramatic landscapes of the Anti-Atlas: rocky mountains, palm-filled oases, and remote Berber villages. Lunch stop along the way, then continue back to Agadir, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
