With magical waterfalls and crystal clear waters, it will be a pleasure to go down the Rio de Frades, using ropes and various water dynamics, always with the watchful eye and collaboration of experienced monitors. The guide will also interpret the incredible history of the entire region, marked by mining exploration, now abandoned.

What to expect
For those who have always dreamed of going down a river, among waterfalls, crystal-clear pools and rocky cliffs, then you will certainly love Canyoning in Rio de Frades!
With the right safety equipment and experienced monitors, it certainly won't be a problem to avoid the many waterfalls you will encounter. We will use various techniques, such as rappelling, jumping into the water and sliding using ropes.
At the end, a short walk will allow you to cross, underground, an old mine in the old Rio de Frades tungsten complex, explored by the Nazis during the Second World War.
