12:30 - 14:00 Lunch break in Épernay. We can make a good local restaurant reservation or You can spend time of Your own. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne river surrounded by the wine hills it is home of many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for champagne lovers. Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists. 14:00 Departure to Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte. It takes 15 minutes (7 km).
14:15 - 15:45 Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte. Guided tour though the Cellars made by the local staff gives You great insight into the history and Champagne production method. Tasting of 3 glasses of Champagne completes this experience. 15:45 Departure to Hautvillers. It takes 20 minute (12 km).
16:00 - 16:30 Hautvillers. Visit the Abbey's Church of Sindulphe of the Abbey Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers. It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne.
