What's Included
Meeting and pickup
This tour is exclusive for cruise ship passengers. If you are not arriving by cruise ship please do not book this tour. Tour operate only when we have cruise ships in port.
From Puntarenas Cruise Ship Pier: Pick up is at the main gate entrance of the pier. It is a very short walking distance from the cruise ship.
From Caldera Cruise Ship Pier: Pick Up is at the entrance of the pier. You should proceed to the main entrance. There is a shuttle bus service you can take. it is complementary.
Once at the entrance of the pier, you will see a Greenway Tours Guide holding a sign with your name.

What to expect
Your adventure begins at our pristine ranch, where you will be paired with one of our well-trained, gentle horses. Our professional guides ensure a comfortable and secure ride, whether you are an experienced rider or a first-time enthusiast. As you set off, you will leave the modern world behind, entering a private rainforest reserve where the canopy provides a cool, emerald shade. The trail winds through lush primary and secondary forests, offering a front-row seat to the sights and sounds of the jungle.
The adventure continues with a short drive to the famous Tarcoles River. Here, you will board an eco-boat for a 60-minute safari through one of the most biodiverse areas in the region. Keep your camera ready for:
• Massive American Crocodiles in their natural habitat.
• Exotic Wildlife: Including Scarlet Macaws, Howler Monkeys, and a variety of aquatic birds.
