Meeting and pickup
We do not have time slots. We leave the port 45 minutes after your ship docks. Please disembark as quickly as possible and be at the pick-up location no more than 45 minutes after your ship docks. We can pick you up in: Amber Cove, Taino Bay, and within the Puerto Plata city, ours service included all hotel of the zone. Amber Cove: the pick up will be outside of the port, after the principal gate, left side of the avenue. About 10 to 12 minutes walk. Taino Bay: the pick up will be at the main entrance, at the right side of the taxi station, outside of the door. About 10 minutes walk. We do not have time slots. Monkey Interaction: This takes place in a designated area where the monkeys are accustomed to human contact. You will be given fruit to offer them, and you can expect them to jump onto your shoulders and head. Birdwatching: In some experiences, you can also feed parakeets at a farm and plantation. Other Activities: Depending on the tour, you may find additional activities such as: Visiting coffee, cacao, tobacco, and mamajuana plantations. Milking a cow.
