Pickup details:

We do not have time slots. We leave the port 45 minutes after your ship docks. Please disembark as quickly as possible and be at the pick-up location no more than 45 minutes after your ship docks. We can pick you up in: Amber Cove, Taino Bay, and within the Puerto Plata city, ours service included all hotel of the zone. Amber Cove: the pick up will be outside of the port, after the principal gate, left side of the avenue. About 10 to 12 minutes walk. Taino Bay: the pick up will be at the main entrance, at the right side of the taxi station, outside of the door. About 10 minutes walk. For more information, please contact us.

What to expect

Overview The fun adventure begins just 10 minutes from Amber Cove and 30 minutes from Taino Bay in a small town called Maimon. At the base of operations you will receive your equipment and some safety instructions before going out into the field. The tour begins by driving through the small local town of Maimon. You will explore nature and Dominican culture with a stop at an authentic small cigar shack where you will learn about cigars, taste organic hot chocolate and coffee. There is a stop at a local beach where you can swim if you wish. Remember to wear clothes you don't care about, because they will get dusty, dirty, muddy, and drive on water.
