    Ferry to Majuli, World's largest river Island.

    Established by Bodula Ata, it is a satra of art, culture, literature and classical knowledge. It has two sub divisions, the Uttar Kamalabari and Natun Kamalabari satras. This satra is famous for its Ankia Naat Dance and Saali Nitya. It has a very appealing architecture and has a very calming atmosphere. You can find more than 215 original works of Srimanta Sankdardeva well preserved in this satra along with numerous artefacts and sculptures.

    Known for the art of mask-making, this satra is a bit different from the others. These masks were made for the Raasleela out of cane, cloth, mud and dung. Hemchandra Goswami, the expert artisan organises mask-making workshops which attract many art savvy people around the world. He also recruits 15 disciples every year to keep the tradition alive. These masks are also available for sale.

    Mishing Village

    Visit a mishing village.The major tribe in Majuli is Mishings and their day to work is very attractive. Apart from doing daily chores they perform additional work of cloth weaving, fishing, farming etc. enjoy the local brew and taste their mouth watering snacks. Afterwards return to Kamalabari Ghat to take ferry service to Jorhat.
