On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by a member of Oscar Africa Safaris who will transfer you by road to your accommodation for dinner and overnight. This small and attractive town is situated beneath the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro.
Tarangire is a mix of woodland and swamps and is covered in striking baobab trees. Tarangire is most famous for its vast elephant population, but the park is also home to all kinds of animals, from herds of zebra, impala and gazelle to big cats and rare species like oryx, gerenuk and wild dogs. Also keep an eye out for the parks tree-climbing lions. You will enjoy morning and late afternoon game drives, with time to relax at the lodge in between.

You’ll spend today exploring the central serengeti while in search of big cats and their Prey.
Early in the morning, we will head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive. As being the largest intact volcanic caldera on earth, the Ngorongoro Crater is also a natural sanctuary for some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa. Due to its enclosed nature, the Ngorongoro Crater has effectively formed its own ecosystem.
Visit the Hadzabe people, a nomadic tribe of hunters and gatherers who live in rural Tanzania. The community is based around Lake Eyasi in the Great Rift Valley and they depend on foraging for plants and hunting small game such as squirrels to survive. The Hadzabe are one of the only tribes in Tanzania that still have a completely traditional culture, so visiting them offers a rare glimpse into the lives of real bush people.
After the last night of safari, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast before for your flight back home. We will transfer you on time to Kilimanjaro International / Arusha Airport in a private car. Before your departure, we will give you a nice surprise to end your trip in the best way possible.
