The Sahara desert of Merzouga is located in the south-east of Morocco, and after visiting it, you will go on to Marrakech. Tangier is located in the north of Morocco.
We are going to pull over somewhere along the way to have lunch and then go see the wild monkeys. We are going to make our way to Erfoud and Rissani as we go closer and closer to the desert.

Today, we will drive you to Chefchaouen from the Tangier airport, port, or hotel where you are staying.
We explore Chefchaouen. The remainder of the day will be at our disposal for us to look around the blue metropolis. Spend the night in a cozy riad and get breakfast in the morning.
Have a pleasant morning at CHefchaouen and the medina there.
After breakfast at the riad, we will get in the car and go to Fes. After a few hours of traveling with a few quick stops along the way, we will get to Fes, which is known as the "Spiritual City" of Morocco.
You will spend the full day exploring the Medina and its alleyways, visiting the majority of the cultural and historical attractions. These will include the renowned Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Medrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain. In addition to that, we will drive you to one of the strongholds so that you can take in a breathtaking panorama over the entire Medina in Fes. a night's stay in a charming riad, including breakfast each morning.
Following breakfast at your riad, you will travel to Merzouga through Midelt and Errachidia on the way there.
Your travels will start in Ifran, also known as Morocco's "Switzerland," and continue on to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley.
During this journey, you will have opportunities to catch glimpses of both the Middle Atlas and the Higher Atlas mountains. Taking a break in the well-known cedar forest, which is Morocco's largest and where you might spot Barbary apes.
After lunch in Midelt, you will continue your drive in the verdant Ziz Valley, stopping frequently to take in the breathtaking scenery along the way.
You will begin your guided camel ride in the Merzouga desert, led by an experienced camel man, to explore the Merzouga sand sea and watch the sunset. En route, we will pass through hospitable Berber settlements on our way to Erfoud, and then continue on to the Merzouga desert. Spend the night at our desert camp, where you will take part in a drum circle, have meals, and enjoy a campfire. Your private tent is equipped with flush toilets and hot showers for your convenience. Your camel guide will wake you up at an ungodly hour so that you can see the sunrise, which is likely going to be the most breathtaking sunrise of your whole life. Following breakfast at the camp, you will have a leisurely camel journey back to your riad, during which you may admire the breathtaking Erg Chebbi dunes, which transform throughout the day based on the light.
You will go to the Tinghir and Todgha gorges, which are respectively the tallest and narrowest gorges in all of Morocco. You will have the opportunity to hike down its valley while you are here.
We will drive into the Dades Valley, where you can see stunning rock formations known as "monkey toes," as well as magnificent sand castles. The accommodations for the night will be at a charming riad located smack dab in the center of the Valley (HB).
After finishing our breakfast, we will begin our journey to Ouarzazate and Kalaat M'Gouna by way of the Dades Valley. The route through Dades Valley is often referred to as the "Way of a Thousand Kasbahs," and it provides travelers with several opportunities to take some of the most memorable images of their trip. We will make a pit stop in Kalaat M'Gouna, often known as "the rose city," in order to get rosewater, which will ensure that your linens continue to smell pleasant long after your trip is over.
Proceed to Ouarzazate, which is often referred to as "Africa's Hollywood."
The famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which is also the largest Kasbah in Morocco, is where lunch will be served. It is officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It has served as the backdrop for a number of movies, including 'Gladiator' and 'Lawrence of Arabia,' to name a couple.
Before arriving in Marrakech, where the tour will conclude at your accommodation or wherever you choose, we will continue our journey over the High Atlas Mountains via the majestic Tizi n'Tichka pass, which is 2,260 meters in elevation. Here, you will have the opportunity to stop and learn about the production process of argan oil at women's cooperatives.
