We’ll stop at Taznakht, a town famous for its handwoven carpets. You will have the opportunity to explore the local workshops and observe artisans carefully weaving traditional Berber rugs. If you’re interested, this is the perfect place to purchase a unique handmade carpet as a souvenir.

Ouarzazate
After lunch, we will continue our journey towards Ouarzazate, also known as the "Hollywood of Morocco." This city is famous for being a filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones due to its vast desert landscapes and ancient kasbahs. Our first stop will be the impressive Kasbah Taourirt, a historical fortress with high towers and intricate designs. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was once the home of the Glaoui family, influential leaders of southern Morocco. After exploring the kasbah, we’ll also have time to visit the Atlas Film Studios, where many iconic Hollywood films were shot. Here, you can step into the world of movie sets, and take photos amidst the famous desert landscapes and props from various blockbuster films. We’ll check into a charming riad in Ouarzazate, where you can unwind and relax. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley

After lunch, we’ll drive towards Dades Valley, passing through mountain passes, palmeraie, and riverside oasis villages. Along the way, we’ll stop at the famous Dades Gorge, with its incredible rock formations and valleys.

Dades Gorges
The dramatic landscapes here are a photographer’s dream, with unusual shapes and colors formed by centuries of natural erosion. We’ll also visit the “Monkey Toes” rock formations, which are a popular natural landmark that attracts travelers from all over the world. We’ll arrive in the Dades Valley in the late afternoon and check in to a comfortable riad overlooking the valley, where you can enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by stunning scenery. fter some time to relax, enjoy a Moroccan dinner in the riad, typically made with fresh local ingredients, such as spicy chickpeas, roasted vegetables, and tender meats. Following your time in Todra Gorge, you’ll continue your journey towards Merzouga Village, located on the edge of the famous Erg Chebbi dunes. As you pass through Tinrghir and other small Berber villages, the landscape shifts dramatically, giving you a sense of Morocco’s diverse natural beauty. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga Village, where you’ll check into a comfortable riad or hotel. Enjoy a warm welcome with traditional mint tea and a chance to relax after your journey. Spend the night at your riad, where you’ll be treated to a delicious dinner before resting for the exciting activities planned for the next day.

Rissani
Next, you’ll visit a nomadic Berber family who live in traditional tents. This is a unique chance to gain insight into their way of life, as you learn about their customs, daily routines, and the challenges they face living in the desert. After a traditional Berber pizza lunch with a local family in the desert, you have the option to explore Rissani, an ancient town that was once the meeting place for salt caravans traveling from Tombouctou in Mali. Rissani is also known as the foundation of the Alaouite Dynasty, the current royal family of Morocco. You’ll wander through the bustling souk (market), where spices, vegetables, and handcrafted goods are sold.

Merzouga
In the afternoon, you’ll return to Merzouga Village, where your camel ride awaits. Your experienced camel guide will lead you on an unforgettable trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, the largest sand dunes in Morocco.
