Beginning in Chefchaouen, also known as "Morocco's Blue City," and continuing on to the enchanted city of Fes with an English-speaking guide, this excursion lasts for four days and begins and ends in Chefchaouen.

Before arriving in the city of Marrakech, you will have the opportunity to explore the Sahara and have a personal understanding of the interesting culture that resides there.

During the course of your 4-day excursion beginning in Chefchaouen, you will be captivated by the traditional architecture as well as the stunning blue homes.

    This morning, we will come to your hotel in Chefchaouen to pick you up, and then we will go to Fes. We explore the Rif Mountains and make our way to Ouazzane by way of these mountains.

    Fez

    We will arrive in Fes in a few hours, and then we will have the rest of the day to see the city's most famous attractions. We take a tour of the Medina and take in its many sights with a local guide. Spend the night in a beautiful and authentic Riad (HB)

    FES - IFRANE - AZROU - MIDELT - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA

    Following breakfast, we will head south into the desert of Merzouga, passing via Midelt and Errachidia on the way.

    Ifrane

    Your journey will begin in Ifrane, Morocco's "Switzerland," and then continue to Merzouga through Midelt and the Ziz Valley. You will get peeks of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains during this excursion. Stopping at the famed cedar forest, Morocco's largest, where you will get the opportunity to witness the Barbarian apes. As you approach Errachidia, you'll observe how the environment transforms to offer indications of the desert.

    Merzouga Desert

    Following lunch in Midelt, your journey continues down the breathtaking Ziz Valley, with stops for panoramic views along the route. We will travel via Berber villages to Erfoud, then to Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, Morocco's present governing royal family. When you get at Merzouga at the end of the day, you'll be greeted with a drink of mint tea before riding your camel to view the sunset in the heart of Morocco's highest sand dunes and spending the night there. You will spend the night in our desert camp, where you will have your meal. (A well-equipped camp.)

    SAHARA DESERT – TODGHA GORGE – DADES VALLEY

    Merzouga

    Your camel guide will wake you up early in the morning to witness what may be the most beautiful sunrise of your life. After that, you'll leisurely camel-trek back to your riad, taking in the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes, which change with the light as the day develops.

    Discover Todra Gorge with Locals - Tourist Information & Experience Center

    After breakfast and a nice shower at a traditional guest home, you'll depart for the Tinghir and Todgha gorges, Morocco's tallest and narrowest gorges. You will be able to trek down its valley from here.

    We'll drive into the Dades Valley, where you'll witness magnificent sand castles and incredible rock formations known as "monkey toes." Overnight lodging will be at a riad or a guesthouse located in the center of the gorge. (Supper and breakfast)

    Following breakfast, we will travel via the Dades Valley to Kalaat M'Gouna and Ouarzazate. The journey through Dades Valley is known as the Way of Thousand Kasbahs, and it offers several opportunity to capture some of the greatest photographs of the trip.

    Lunch will be served at the famed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, Morocco's biggest Kasbah. UNESCO has designated it as a World Heritage Site. It has appeared in several films, including 'Lawrence of Arabia' and 'Gladiator.' Our drive will continue across the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains, where you may also stop to learn about the Argan oil production process at women's cooperatives.
