This square is situated just below the central hill and it still presents the main square in the city. This was centre of city life in Roman times already and to be fair, even today it is a legislative and administrative centre of the city. Here we will get to know more about Temple of Augustus and as well about municipality of Pula, that holds its headquarters here.

6Arch of the Sergii
Erected in 1 century by important Sergi family who honoured their family members this memorable sight was constructed in Corinthian style. Today gates and the square beside play an important role in culture of Pula as there are numerous theatrical, musical and other performances taking place here.

7Gate of Hercules
Gate of Hercules were build in Roman times. They are located between two medieval towers. Right through this gates and we end up our tour with local dessert.
