This experience opens for you the doors of London's tiny bohemian apiary where you can inspect a beehive, peep into the inner workings of bees in an observation hive, discover different types of hives - from Warre to top bar to what's called national standard.

In this experience, you will receive a full on introduction to the world of bees and ethical beekeeping.

We will conduct our workshop in our tiny West London house/urban garden, where you will have a private room to change into your beekeeping suit. Basement flat.

What to expect

You'll be warmly welcomed into our tiny West London apiary, we will start with a short presentation where I share with you a lot of interesting facts about bees and beekeeping, after that we gear up into our beekeeping suits and we head to the garden where you can see different types of beehives, we'll pick a hive to inspect - I always encourage guests to take part of the inspection if they are comfortable with a hands-on experience. Once we are done, we'll finish with a honey tasting session where you try my personal unique collections of honey from different parts of the world.
