We offer you the experience of a life time. Experience the beach on horse back, at your level of riding experience. If your dream is a gallop on an endless beach we can make your dream come true, but it is subject to your having the necessary riding experience.
Even those who have never ridden a horse we will look after you and take you on a beach walk.
The beach ride takes place on 16Mile beach the longest uninterrupted beach in South Africa, only an hour’s drive from Cape Town.

Pickup details:

We will do pick ups within the Cape Town CBD and Foreshore
Any other locations within an acceptable distance will be considered and confirmed once the address has been provided and the cost confirmed
Rates for the transfers:
rates may vary due to uncertain fuel prices

Directions to the meeting point: Driving on the R315 to Yzerfontein just at the beginning of the town(just after Buildit hardware) you will find a gravel road to your right signposted Strandkombuis. Follow the road until you see our sign post on the right and a turn in to the right.

What to expect

Explore the longest uninterrupted beach in South Africa on horse back. Join West Coast Horse Trails in exploring this amazing beach forming part of the coastal town Yzerfontein. This is a bucket list adventure! Even if you do not want to complete the whole ride on horse back we can offer to take photos and videos of you during part of the allotted time with your phone or we can arrange a professional photographer at an additional cost
We DO NOT have scheduled times as our rides are dependent on the low tide, which varies from day to day
Please ensure prior to the ride that you have confirmed your start time with us
