This Sanctuary is a conservation project started by a family who purchased a hill slope and converted it into a forest. Visitors also come to see the unique, one of its kind rooftop garden with integrated rainwater harvesting system in India. You will explore various kinds of butterflies, birds and get to know about their lifecycle. This is a must-visit for nature lovers and photographers. You will also be pleased to taste the authentic Goan food here and a heavy breakfast and delicious lunch will make your day. While on the trail you can even ask our host if you wish to experience a cooking demo of Goan rural cuisine, art workshop, laughter club, treks, and botany. This tour is a perfect day out with nature and taste the real food of Goa. After lunch, you will be dropped back to your pick up location.

    Our representative will meet you at the pickup location, who will then assist you towards the Butterfly Sanctuary.

    Once you reach the Butterfly Sanctuary, our host will welcome you with a nice and fresh breakfast which will have fruit, Goan bread and vegetable gravy, pastry with tea/coffee. The host will guide you into the sanctuary to show the different kinds of butterfly and birds. After the trail, Lunch is again stapled Goan rural cuisine (veg or fish as per your specifications).
