Your guide will take you deep into the forest to a traditional Finnish mökki - a log cabin with no electricity or running water, nestled by a small, peaceful lake. Surrounded by untouched nature, this beautiful and tranquil spot is perfect for a relaxing escape.

What to expect

At the sauna, your guide will light the wood-burning sauna and teach you how to enjoy it the authentic Finnish way. For the brave, a wooden pontoon leads straight into the lake for a refreshing dip. Alternating between the hot sauna and the cold water is a healthy Finnish tradition. In colder months, you can try “snow swimming” by cooling off in the snow next to the sauna.

Your guide provides all necessary equipment including towels, soaps, and birch tar oil. You are welcome to bring a swimsuit, or enjoy the sauna in the traditional Finnish way — nude. This private experience ensures you have all the time and space to unwind fully.

While you relax, your guide will prepare a sweet snacks and warm drinks.

During summer, enjoy the sauna under the magical Midnight Sun or beautiful sunsets. In autumn, the lakeside location offers excellent chances to see the Northern Lights, with zero light pollution and a perfect northern view. Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed.
