Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park. It’s also the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. With almost guaranteed wildlife sightings, it makes an ideal safari destination for those without much time. Since the completion of the paved road connecting the park gate with Dar es Salaam, Mikumi National Park has been slated to become a hubspot for tourism in Tanzania. Located between the Uluguru Mountains and the Lumango range, and only a few hours’ drive from Tanzania’s economical city. The park has a wide variety of wildlife that can be easy spotted for maximum game viewing. Transfer from Dar es salaam to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro
After breakfast will go for a full day game drive inside Mikumi national park. Today we have all the chances of spotting lions, Elephants, Leopards and African wild dogs. Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland, crocodiles and antelope. We will enjoy our lunch from inside the park and later evening drive back to our booked hotel
After breakfast we will proceed to the snake park and experience snakes of different types, crocodiles and tortoise kept at the park, equip yourself with a camera as you’ll need to have memories of your time with these magnificent beasts or you could visit the maasai village and experience the unique culture of the nomadic tribe. Later late morning we shall start driving back to Dar es Salaam and drop you back at ferry or airport.
