Long March to Freedom is a one-of-a-kind monumental procession of life-size bronze statues, telling the story of 350 years of South Africa’s struggle history through the lives of the persons represented. The Long March to Freedom exhibition, which currently consists of 100 figures that will grow into a procession of more than 400 bronze statues over time, is known as the world’s largest representational collection of bronzes.

We pickup travelers within 5km radius of the city center. Please include your location when making your booking. Alternatively we meet travelers at the Silo Hotel, drop and go area.
We pick up travelers from the hotel lobby in and a 5km radius from the city center. We also do pick ups from the drop and go zone at the Silo Hotel (Waterfront) and the Cape Town Cruise Terminal

This is known as the "gateway to Robben Island". This is where tourists will board the ferry to the island. Tourists will also interact with the seals that will be relaxing in the nearby vicinity as they wait for the ferry to depart for Robben Island.

This tour is very informative and provides a lot of information about the social ills in South Africa. A lot of history is learnt on this tour especially with regards to the fight for freedom of South Africa. This is a tour where information is provided by people who lived the experience and not guides who had to study to acquire the necessary qualifications. The Guides here are ex-political prisoners and ex wardens who either worked or were imprisoned at the same time with political prisoners like Nelson Mandela. There are multi-layers of history which tells travelers of the ills of apartheid and how the current regime is trying to create an environment of inclusivity. There is a rare opportunity for travelers to visit the former cell of Nelson Mandela and even take photos.
