This vineyard walk is special because it not only offers nature and panorama, but also focuses on the regional wines of private premium wineries. We work consciously with family-run businesses that produce Franconian wines with passion, handicraft and great care. Each bottle tells of tradition, generational knowledge and close ties to the region.
On the way through the sun-drenched vineyards, participants experience exactly where the grapes grow what makes these wines so unique : shell limestone soils, climate and real craftsmanship. With this tour we want to make the region visible and support it in a targeted way – far away from mass-produced goods, to quality, personality and authentic enjoyment.
The result is a walk with charm, heart and attitude : regionally rooted, selected to a high standard and full of genuine Franconian lifestyle.

What to expect
From Marienberg Fortress to Burkard Church
This atmospheric vineyard hike combines nature, history and Franconian enjoyment. The start is the Marienberg Fortress with impressive views over Würzburg, the Main and the surrounding wine regions. From there, the panoramic path leads through the picturesque vineyards with their historic dry stone walls and magnificent viewpoints.
Along the way, participants will learn interesting facts about regional viticulture and the special features of Franconian wine culture. The destination is the Burkarder Kirche am Main – an idyllic place for a relaxed conclusion.
On the way we taste 3 wines and water. We also serve cheese cubes, sausage sticks and salty pastries.
Ideal for companies, groups and connoisseurs – an enjoyable experience with panorama.
