Iliboru-arusha
Arrive at JRO (Kilimanjaro Airport) and be transferred to Arusha. Spend your first day relaxing and settling in, preparing for your upcoming adventure. The lodge provides a peaceful environment to unwind. Accommodation: Arusha Planet Lodge Meals: Dinner
On Day 2, explore Arusha Town, where you'll visit local markets and shops. Later, head to the Cultural Art Centre in Arusha, a vibrant place showcasing Tanzanian art, crafts, and cultural heritage. You'll have the chance to admire various works by local artists and learn about Tanzanian traditions. Accommodation: Arusha Planet Lodge Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its high concentration of elephants and magnificent baobab trees. Spend the day on a game drive, spotting diverse wildlife such as zebras, lions, and giraffes. Enjoy an overnight stay at the lodge overlooking the park. After breakfast we enjoy a full day game drive with lunch at the lodge, along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s centre not far from the Serengeti Seronera Lodge and public campsites, is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed centre, offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The centre also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased, as well as a picnic area and information trail up and around a nearby kopje. We will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the centre in the shade of the giant acacia trees. Dinner and overnight in the Seronera area, as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.
Spend an exciting full day at the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The crater, often called the “Eden of Africa,” is home to a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, buffaloes, and more. The game drive is an unforgettable safari experience. On Day 6, you’ll visit Lake Eyasi for an immersive experience with the Hadzabe people, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in the world. Learn about their ancient traditions, participate in a hunting demonstration, and gain insight into their unique way of life. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Experience Maasai culture at a Maasai Boma in Monduli. The Maasai are known for their distinctive customs and vibrant clothing, and you'll have the opportunity to learn about their traditions, dances, and lifestyle.
