    Your safari adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar, where our friendly transfer driver will take you to the airport for your exciting one-hour flight to Arusha. Upon landing in Arusha, our safari manager will be waiting to warmly welcome you, offering a quick glimpse into your 5-day journey. Soon after, your professional safari guide picks you up for the two-hour scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its large, incredible elephant herds and ancient, massive baobab trees the biggest trees on the continent! From the open roof of your vehicle, you will explore the savanna and seasonal swamps. The Tarangire River is teeming with life, revealing everything from many bird species to giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, and giant elephants. As the day ends, you travel to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

    Tarangire to Serengeti Adventure

    After a delicious breakfast, your journey departs towards the Great Rift Valley, passing through the cooler region of Karatu. Soon, you will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, making a stop for a spectacular view into the famous crater from a high viewpoint. Continuing around the massive caldera, the road becomes bumpy, offering a thrilling "African massage" as you pass traditional Maasai villages on your way to the Serengeti. At the Naabi Hill entrance gate, you can stretch your legs and walk to a viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views across the Serengeti savannah. Afterward, the adventure continues into the central Seronera Area. The park unfolds before you, offering a multitude of wildlife, including the thrill of spotting the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. As the evening arrives, you will head to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay under the vast African sky.

    Full Day in the Endless Serengeti

    The magic starts before dawn! You can wake early for a sunrise game drive, a special time to spot rare nocturnal animals and the first daily risers. Many animals line the roadsides to escape the morning dew, offering wonderful, close-distance sightings. After a hearty breakfast at your accommodation, you will dedicate the entire day to game drives within the magnificent Serengeti National Park. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word ‘Siringiti’, meaning "plains without end," and you will explore these vast, legendary stretches of African savannah. Beyond the famous wildebeest, the park offers an incredible array of wildlife. Look forward to spotting elephants, powerful lions, swift cheetahs, elusive leopards, zebras, elands, and a multitude of beautiful resident and migratory birds. After an incredible day exploring this wild paradise, you will return to your accommodation in the evening for relaxation and dinner.

    Last Serengeti Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    After breakfast at your accommodation, you will check out and head out for one last thrilling game drive in the Serengeti. You will explore the Seronera River Valley, known for its rich wildlife and birdlife, or venture to any location your professional safari guide recommends. Your guide is always in constant contact with other drivers via the VHF high-frequency radios fitted in our safari cars. This network means they always know the best places to explore, maximizing your final chances for incredible sightings! Later in the afternoon, bid farewell to the endless plains as you drive back toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will check in at a comfortable lodge ready for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay before tomorrow's grand finale.

    Ngorongoro Crater and Flight back to Zanzibar

    Your final safari morning starts with an early breakfast and then begins the steep drive down over 600 meters into "Africa's Garden of Eden." Once on the floor, you will immediately see why this is the best wildlife area on Earth. The water and rich grass feed countless animals. Wildebeest and zebra herds roam, huge elephants move through the woods, and buffalo rest in the marshes. Hippos lounge in pools, and warthogs run about. The crater is famous for its big cats. Lions rule here. Hyenas patrol, and you might spot cheetahs sprinting. Your expert guide will try to find the elusive leopard. A highlight is Lake Magadi. Here, thousands of pink flamingos create a spectacular sight. In the afternoon you will have lunch and after lunch, drive up the crater wall. Take a final look at this natural wonder below. The journey then begins back to Arusha. At the airport, you catch your flight back to Zanzibar, where a transfer team will take you back to your hotel.
