Day 1
Zanzibar-Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park
Your journey begins with a pick-up from your Zanzibar hotel. We will transfer you for a one-hour flight to Arusha. Take in the fantastic views of the coast giving way to the vast mainland. At Arusha, your safari guide will be waiting to warmly welcome you. After securing your luggage, you will have a brief introduction during the 10-minute drive to Forest Hills Hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we set off on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its massive elephant herds and very old, towering baobab trees. In our open-roof 4x4, get ready to spot giraffes, zebras, and perhaps even lions. The Tarangire River is a magnet for animals: watch warthogs, impalas, and maybe a leopard resting in a tree. At midday, we will stop for a lovely picnic lunch. Afterwards, the game drive continues, searching for animals until the late afternoon. As the sun starts to set, we will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Tarangire to Central Serengeti National Park

The adventure continues after a hearty breakfast. We drive through the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Keep watching as the land changes while we descend the Malanja Depression toward the golden, endless plains of the Serengeti. Our first stop is Naabi Hill Gate. Here, you can stretch your legs and climb the huge kopjes (unique rock formations) for a truly amazing panoramic view of the Serengeti. While you enjoy the view, your guide takes care of the park permits. Next, we enjoy a delicious picnic lunch. Afterwards, the real magic begins! We dive deep into the Serengeti, where wildlife roams completely free. This is the home of thundering wildebeest herds, hunting cheetahs, and majestic lions. Look for giraffes, zebras, and giant elephants. As the sun sets, we will make our way to your accommodation, settled right in the heart of the wilderness. Imagine falling asleep to the authentic sounds of the savannah.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park & Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The day starts before the sun rises when the Serengeti is most alive. After an early breakfast, we drive out as the first light touches the plains. This is prime predator hour: lions patrol, cheetahs search for food, and hyenas return home. The morning light creates stunning shadows for photos. After the exciting morning drive, we visit the famous hippo pools, where these enormous creatures splash and grunt—a powerful natural sight. You can choose to stop at the Seronera Visitor Centre to learn about the park, or we can simply enjoy more game drives. Lunch is served in the afternoon. The afternoon includes more game viewing as we drive toward Naabi Hill. This is your chance to spot any animals you missed. As the scenery changes from open plains to rocky hills, we will exit the Serengeti and drive toward Ngorongoro. By evening, you will be settled at your accommodation near Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Transfer back to Zanzibar

Your final safari morning starts with breakfast, and after breakfast, we begin our steep drive down over 600 meters into "Africa's Garden of Eden." Once on the floor, you will immediately see why this is the best wildlife area on Earth. The water and rich grass feed countless animals. Wildebeest and zebra herds roam, huge elephants move through the woods, and buffalo rest in the marshes. Hippos lounge in pools, and warthogs run about. The crater is famous for its big cats. Lions rule here. Hyenas patrol, and you might spot cheetahs sprinting. Your expert guide will try to find the elusive leopard. A highlight is Lake Magadi. Here, thousands of pink flamingos create a spectacular sight In the afternoon, you will have lunch, and after lunch, we will drive up the crater wall. Take a final look at this natural wonder below. We then begin our journey back to Arusha. At the airport, you will catch your flight back to Zanzibar, where a transfer team will take you back to your hotel.
