Ntarama Genocide Memorial Centre is one of six genocide museums in Rwanda. 5,000 people were killed here in a Catholic church. you will be able to see the old church where victims used to pray and know how they got killed in the church. you will be able to see the weapons they used to kill and old clothes of the victims. the guide will take through the whole story of how the Rwanda genocide started, main cause and how it ended.
The Nyamata Genocide Memorial is based around a former church 30 km south of Kigali in Rwanda, which commemorates the Rwandan genocide in 1994. The remains of 50,000 people are buried here. you will be able to see and learn about the history of the area and the old church where victims used to pray and know-how and when they were attacked while hiding in the church.
