Kilimanjaro Day Hike will take you to the first heart while enjoying the environment and keeping yourself fit-preparing for more time to come back and do the whole Mountain trekking. (a perfect start for those considering future multi-day summit attempts. )
You will need 4 hours to trek to the first hut (Mandara Hut) and 3 hours back. If you are a fast walker you can reach to Maundi crater and enjoy the nice views.
This trek is perfect for guests completing a safari, and looking to diversify their experience and stretch their legs after days of sitting in a car.
It also requires no prior physical skills, making it accessible to a wide range of adventurers.

We will pick you up from the Hotel (or any area you specified) in Arusha Town
What to expect
Along the way to Mandara Hut, you will spot the various species of monkeys such as black, white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and various bird species.
Our knowledgeable and experienced guides will give you all the necessary information about Mount Kilimanjaro and explain the different species of plants and animals you will come across along the way.
On reaching Mandara Hut you will enjoy a well-earned lunch and rest before proceeding with the hike for 15 minutes to the Maundi Crater. Here you will enjoy wonderful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Northern Tanzania, and Kenya across the border.
After the great 3 to 5 hours hike, you will then begin the descending adventure returning to the Marangu Gate. Your vehicle will be waiting for you for a transfer back to your hotel in Arusha.
