3 hours 45 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English and 2 more

For excursions we use comfortable 7.5 meter inflatable boats with 250 horsepower engine, equipped with a awning to provide shade during navigation and during stops. They are also equipped with several dry spaces to place personal belongings.
Dolphin watching is done by trying to interact as little as possible with the animals so as not to disturb their activities and not alter their natural behavior (Blue Way adheres to the "Friend of the Sea Dolphin and Whale Watching" project respecting the code of conduct in case of sighting). Dolphins (Tursiops truncatus) are wild animals in their natural environment, so we cannot guarantee sightings, however the chance of encountering them during our excursions is over 80%.

What to expect

We cross the inland Gulf of Olbia observing the cultivation of mussels and the Lighthouse of the Island of Bocca, and then point the bow towards the Island of Figarolo, about 30 minutes by boat. Once in Figarolo, you can swim in the crystal clear waters with the use of a mask and snorkel available for free. Then we head to Capo Figari, an imposing limestone cliff overlooking the sea, or Capo Ceraso with its enchanting coves. Depending on the wind conditions we will choose another place to stop for a relaxing swim and a small snack. What makes this excursion special is the concrete possibility (more than 80%) to observe the dolphins of the species Tursiops truncatus in the wild, which for many years have frequented this area attracted by the presence of a fish farming facility. On the most fortunate occasions we can see them very close while swimming next to and under the boat. Dolphins are wild animals and we will try to interfere as little as possible with their activities and behaviour, sometimes moving away from the sighting area if there are too many boats at once.
