We meet in the Plaza de Mayo to begin chronicling the history of our Nation.
We will see outside the Cabildo, the only building from the colonial period that still stands in front of the square
Panoramic view of the obelisk and then enter the Metropolitan Cathedral to discover, in addition to its beautiful architecture and decoration, the Mausoleum of General San Martin, the father of the country.
We continue the tour to the center of the square, the marching place of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and then we will approach the Casa Rosada, seat of the national government.
From there, by vehicle, we will pass through the San Telmo neighborhood, the oldest in Buenos Aires, to talk about its fair, its market, its history and tango.
We continue to the neighborhood of La Boca, where the first port of the city was located, which received so many immigrants in its colorful convents and which is also home to the Boca Juniors Athletic Club. Here we will have some free time to explore Caminito Street and its surroundings.
We meet again to head to Puerto Madero and learn the history of the second Port of Buenos Aires which, after an impressive remodeling, became the most modern neighborhood in the city
Then we will pass through the neighborhood of Retiro, home of the third and current port and the largest train station in the country
the most elegant neighborhood of the city, where, in addition to to touring Alvear Square, we will give an introduction with the generalities of the neighborhood so that visitors can then tour on their own the rest of the afternoon. *Entrance to the cemetery is not included. *This is the end of our tour. Passengers can choose to have lunch at any of the restaurants in the area or return to their hotels on their own.
