A unique street art tour in Munich.
Away from the tourist streams, we follow the colour trail by bike first along the Isar and then through the former working-class district of Giesing to the slaughterhouse district.
The tour starts at Marienplatz in front of the tourist information for the city of Munich in the Gothic town hall.
Even if you don't see it at first glance in clean, chic Munich, it was the cradle of graffiti in Germany in the 1980s. The first "Pieces", the first "Wholetrain" and the first Hall of Fame were created right here. Many sprayers from the very beginning are still active today. On this tour we will see some of the ephemeral, ever-changing works of not only the "old masters" but also the up-and-coming street artists. Away from the crowds of tourists, we follow the color trail by bike, first along the Isar and then through the former working-class district of Giesing to the slaughterhouse district. In the colder season (from November) you can walk and take public transport through Berg-am-Laim, the district from which the bricks of the Frauenkirche come, to the Werksviertel on the site of the former Pfanni factory.
