A true hidden gem - next to the majestic S. Mary Major, and built on top of an Early Christianity, clandestine woman-owned church, it holds the spectacular, golden-covered Chapel of St. Zenone. The Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli was built in the 5th century to house the chains with which Saint Peter was imprisoned in Jerusalem and is also known for the presence of the famous Moses by Michelangelo.
