    Standing in the historical heart of Sintra, this is the best-preserved medieval royal residence in Portugal, being inhabited more or less continuously from at least the early 15th century to the late 19th century. We will be able to see this Palace from the outside from different viewpoints along to way to the other monuments

    Palacio e Parque Biester

    The Biester Palace dates back to the last two decades of the 19th century (1880-1890), and is a Romantic work par excellence, eclectic and exuberant, with elegant elevations that reveal the good taste of the period at its peak. The execution of the magnificent frescoes and carvings, which richly decorate all the walls, was given to the most renowned artists, Luigi Manini and Leandro Braga.     Castelo dos Mouros

    Built by the Moors in the 8th and 9th centuries, it was an important strategic point during the Reconquista, and was taken by Christian forces after the fall of Lisbon in 1147. Considered to be the "crown" of Sintra. We will stop at certain viewpoints where you'll be able to see the Castle.
