  Your next stop is the hill where Rome was founded. According to legend, it was here that Romulus killed his twin brother Remus before founding the Eternal City in 753 BC. The Palatine Hill gives us our word “palace” because it was home to Rome’s rich and powerful. Explore the remains of the imperial palaces and imagine the luxury of ancient Rome. The sprawling ruins, towering pine trees, and spectacular views of Circus Maximus and the Roman Forum make this a truly memorable experience.

  Foro Romano

  The last stop on your tour takes you into the heart of the ancient city. Discover what life was like for everyday Romans as you explore the social, religious, and political center of the Roman Empire. Marvel at the remains of 2,000-year-old temples, triumphal arches, basilicas, and more as you walk the same stones Caesar and Cicero once did. After the tour, you are welcome to continue exploring the Forum and Palatine Hill at your own pace.
