Your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Niujie Mosque in a comfortable car. Built in 996 AD, Niujie Mosque in Beijing is located about 7 kilometers west of the Forbidden City. For more than a thousand years, it has been a mosque where local Muslim believers in Beijing come to pray, and it is also the largest and oldest mosque in Beijing. Right at the entrance of the mosque are a Muslim supermarket and a snack street. An English-speaking tour guide will accompany you to learn about the Muslim history of Beijing and taste the local halal snacks in Beijing. After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.
