Relaxed and comfortably paced nature walk in the rugged, uniquely beautiful mid mountain area of the Sierra Nevada National & Nature Park, professionally guided by your adorable, and very experienced pup-guide "Kira".
Varied landscapes and terrain with dramatic scenery, deep valleys and the ascent to a 1.500m / 4.980ft summit with the most stunning views over the valley of Granada and the mid and high mountains of the Sierra Nevada and surrounding mountain ranges. One of THE best sunset spots in all of Granada!
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meeting is 2 hours and 30 min. before sunset (check local sunset time), in the large roundabout at the bus stop 'Emperador Carlos V-Palacio Deportes' (next to cafeteria 'La Isla', the taxi stand and a large FARMACIA sign) in Granada.
What to expect
If you love dogs, nature, the mountains and beautiful scenery, come, disconnect from the city and enjoy a magical walk in a stunningly beautiful area hidden away from most travelers. Join your gorgeous furry guide Kira on an awe-inspiring walk she'd love to share with you.
It is an easy & varied trail in the mid-mountain area of the Sierra Nevada National & Nature Park, surrounded by breath-taking mountain scenery with incredible views of several three-thousanders, and the entire valley of Granada, crowned by the summit of an emblematic 1.520m/ 5.000ft peak from where we will watch the sunset.
This is not a fast-paced hike, but an enjoyable nature walk which is also suited for families and less "athletic" individuals. HOWEVER, the optional ascent to the summit does require some physical effort.
While some rain is no reason to cancel, in dangerours weather conditions (ej. thunder storm) the activity would have to be cancelled.
