1Grunasi Waterfall
Leave Tirana on day one and head toward the North of Albania. Drive on the road to Theth and upon reaching the destination, be welcomed by a local family in their guesthouse. Hike to the beautiful Gurnas waterfall after breakfast at the guesthouse. Enjoy a leisurely 45-min walk from the center of the village to the waterfall. Visit also the Catholic Church of Theth on the trip out of Theth and see the Lock-in Tower. With more than 4 centuries of history, this building is the symbol of settling the Blood Feuds in Albania. 3Blue Eye of Theth
After breakfast will drive with the local van to Nderlysaj, 45 min. There will start the hiking to Blue Eye. It will take 1 hour hiking to Blue Eye and 40 min to return. Stop in the the stone groves of Nderlysaj. Lunch in Nderlysaj. 15.00 Return to Theth and take our car to drive back to Shkoder and Tirana. Walk through Shkoder and take in some of the most interesting parts of the city, including the most famous “Pedonale”, a pedestrian-friendly area with bars and restaurants. Stop at the Castle of Rozafa oin Shkoder Learn about the castle’s role in Albanian history, dating from the Antiquity and the Illiryan-Roman wars, and see the castle, built over the top of a hill. Discover the fascinating legends of the Albanian Epos and how it relates to the castle’s history. About 18.00 drive Back to Tirana.
