Our private tour begins in the heart of Santiago’s old town. You’ll explore La Moneda Palace (from outside) the surrounding squares and streets of Morandé, Moneda, and Teatinos. We’ll pass through the Plaza de la Constitución, where you’ll see the monument to Salvador Allende and the Regional Government building. A walk along Avenida Bandera will take us to the Plaza de Armas, the historic heart of Santiago. It is surrounded by impressive architectural gems such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the National History Museum, and French-style “Beaux-Arts” shopping galleries.
Our tour of Santiago’s historic center will take us to Santa Lucía Hill, where Santiago de Chile was founded. We’ll walk along the hill’s paths and reach the fort at the top to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
Behind the eastern side of Santa Lucía Hill, we’ll explore the most bohemian area of the city — the Lastarria neighborhood. Here, you’ll experience Santiago’s artistic atmosphere and enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants known for their high-quality cuisine.
We’ll take a break at one of the best restaurants in Santiago - maybe in Lastarria district, or wherever the day takes us!
After exploring Santiago’s colonial period, our tour continues to the Bellavista neighborhood. We ascend San Cristóbal Hill on a vintage funicular, which takes us to stunning panoramic views of Santiago, nestled in the heart of the Andes.
We drive through the modern district of Las Condes, an upper-middle-class neighborhood and business center known as "Sanhattan."
We’ll visit the Los Dominicos handicraft market, a charming artisan center located on the grounds of the San Vicente Ferrer Church, which has been declared a national monument. Here, you’ll discover a wide variety of antiques and handmade crafts, including ceramics, textiles, metalwork, paintings, woodwork, leather goods, and glass items.
