With Visit Horn Africa, you can enjoy an all-inclusive experience, excluding lunches, dinners, visa costs, and flights, on tours to Somalia (Mogadishu), Somaliland, and Djibouti. We offer these tours at the lowest prices available in the market for all three countries in the Horn of Africa, and you won't find them anywhere else, as we provide the most cost-effective combined tour packages in the region.
This combined Horn of Africa tour takes you to some of the most fascinating destinations in the Horn: Somaliland, a self-declared country that remains unrecognized, and Djibouti, one of the smallest nations on the African continent. As for Somalia (Mogadishu), it has been largely off-limits to travelers for the past 20 years, but we offer a unique opportunity to explore this once-inaccessible destination.
This tour starts from Mogadishu airport, and after completing the Mogadishu tour, we will head to Somaliland (Hargeisa) via a domestic flight, which operates daily. The fare for this flight is $180, but this is not included in the package. After finishing your time in Somaliland, you will depart from Hargeisa to Djibouti via Air Djibouti or Ethiopian Airlines, depending on flight availability. Please note that all flights are not included in the package.
Upon arrival in Mogadishu, enjoy a city tour, including Liido Beach, where you can swim and have a meal. The city tour will depend on your arrival time and can be adjusted as needed. Overnight at Shamo Hotel.
Full day in Mogadishu, visiting highlights such as the Fish Market (excluding Bakaara Market and Black Hawk Down sites for safety reasons). Overnight at Shamo Hotel.

Visit the caves of Laas Geel, where rock art dating back more than 5,000 years has been found – one of the most well-preserved examples of rock art in Africa, and a highlight of the journey. A French team led by Xavier Gutherz discovered the site in 2002 during their study of the origins of pastoralism in the Horn of Africa. Along with the paintings, lithic tools were found scattered throughout the site, and there are many tombs marked with stelae and mounds in the nearby area. There are approximately 20 rock shelters with paintings, the largest of which measures approximately 10 meters in length. Most of them appear to be humpless cows with curved or lyre-like white horns (sometimes with reddish tips) and marked udders. We will return to Hargeisa city and visit the nearby Camel farm after visiting the site. Dinner and overnight at Damal Hotel Hargeisa or a similar hotel. (BLD)
