Start with Kathmandu Valley hotel pickup to Nagarkot View Tower for sunrise and Himalayan views, weather permitting. Choose Sunrise View Only with return to Kathmandu and an English-speaking driver; Group Sunrise and Changu Narayan Hike, a mostly downhill route through villages, terraced fields and forest with a suspension bridge and English-speaking hiking guide; Private Sunrise and Changu Narayan Hike, with private vehicle, pickup/drop-off and guide; or Private Sunrise and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Duration is 4–6 hours, depending on traffic, weather and trail conditions. A packed breakfast box with bottled water, muffin, doughnut, banana and juice is included. Club Himalaya breakfast is optional. Changu Narayan/Bhaktapur fees, tips, personal expenses and unlisted meals are excluded. Pickup time is confirmed the day before, usually 4:00–5:30 a.m. The hike is moderately easy but includes uneven downhill paths. Wear comfortable shoes; sunrise and mountain views are not guaranteed.
