Bocale is a testimony to the artisanal production of high quality wine while respecting the territory, the environment and the people who have been working and living there for generations.
The company has started in 2020 the conversion to organic farming.
In the vineyard herbicides are not used, the soil is grassed between the rows to reduce mechanical work, erosion and runoff. The vineyard is treated with the technique of green manure generally favino and soil fertility is replenished with organic and mineral fertilizers without the use of chemicals.
In the cellar are used only indigenous yeasts and neither microfiltrations nor stabilizations are done. The wine obtained is the result of an artisanal process respecting the environmental cycles and the natural attitudes of a territory.
The winery spreads on 10 hectares, 6 of which are vineyards, and has an average annual production of 35,000 bottles.
