Glamping Trip 2 Days Kayaking from Hoover Dam to 7 Hot Springs

2 days (approximately)
Offered in: English

Our Glamping Trip is our most dynamic and intricate trip we offer. We bring all the supplies.

Guests could choose to hike to just ONE of these slot canyons on a day hike, but we see ALL of them (7 Hot Springs), from a SHORT-CUT via the Colorado River, launching from the base of the Hoover Dam, and giving us WAY more time to explore all these slot canyons and soak in medicinal Hot Springs on this VIP Camping Trip.

Sauna Cave: we’ll stop here to discover hot springs deep inside the canyon

Gold Strike Hot Springs: just a 5-10 minute hike away. Kayaking there and Glamping or Camping, (Dealers Choice) we have more time.

Boyscout Canyon: we’ll get an extra 2-3 hours to go all the way back of this world wonder slot canyon with thousands of feet of geothermal waterfalls dripping from the thousand-foot-high slot canyon walls.

Arizona Hot Springs Beach: Extra hour to Soak

Secret Hot Springs and Waterfall.

Ending at the World Famous Emerald Cave

Itinerary

Duration: 2 days (approximately)
    Day 1

Hoover Dam Launch in Kayaks to Boyscout Canyon, Sauna Cave, AZ Hot Springs, Infinity Falls, and Emerald Cave

    7 stops
  • 1
    Hoover Dam

We are one of the few Outfitters approved to take you to the base of the base of the awe-inspiring Hoover Dam. This is not the 81 Hoover Dam Access Road, this is the restricted road we need passes through the National Park Service to Access. There are restricted passes and guests do need to go through an approved outfitter like us to launch in kayaks from the base of the Hoover Dam. We see Sauna Cave, Goldstrike Waterfalls, Melt Your Shoes Hot Springs, Arizona Hot Springs, Boyscout Slot Canyon, and the Emerald Cave.

    20 minutes Admission ticket included
  • 2
    Arizona Hot Springs

We hike up from the river and up a large ladder through a waterfall to get to the world-famous Arizona Hot Springs. Optional Hot Spring Yoga.

    1 hour Admission ticket included
  • 3
    Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Boyscout Slot Canyon: Technically, this area is part of the Grand Canyon. And in our humble opinion, the absolute best part is BOYSCOUT CANYON: Unless you’ve got rappelling gear and a rope the length of a football field, this is by far the safest and easiest way to experience thousands of feet of geothermal waterfalls and endless rain caves.

    3 hours Admission ticket included
  • 4
    Colorado River

We will spend only a small amount of the 30 hours we spend ion the river kayaking but it is 11 miles down river. We can leave with the flow of the Hoover Dam letting out water in the morning to propel us back faster or enjoy more time soaking in the medicinal hot springs. We kayak the Colorado River with back door access to Goldstrike Hot Springs, Sauna Cave, Infinity Hot Springs, and Boyscout Canyon. We will see dozens of rain caves, bird watch, and often see Big Horn Sheep while floating and paddling down river. It is a nice workout but an absolute doable one.

    4 hours Admission ticket included
  • 5
    Colorado River

Sauna Cave: We go inside a Lave Tube like 140 foot deep and 140 degree natural Steam Room. We take it back and enjoy a minute of silence if guests agree to set our intentions for the trip.

  • 9
    Arizona Hot Springs

Optional: stop at the Hot Springs to soak in the medicinal benefits one last time before the kayaking trip back to Willow Beach.

Paddle back with extra time and no rush to Emerald Cave and Willow Beach Marina to end this epic trip. A lot of times we're rushed to get to get the Emerald Cave on our full day trip but we will have time to make it with good lighting.
