What to expect
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Gorges – Tinghir
Depart from Marrakech via the scenic High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage village of Ait Benhaddou, famous for its Kasbahs and film history. Continue through Ouarzazate and the beautiful Valley of Roses before reaching Dades Gorges and Tinghir for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Tinghir – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, explore the stunning Todgha Gorges, a paradise for photographers and nature lovers. Continue through the palm groves of Erfoud, known for its fossils, before arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Enjoy a camel ride over the golden dunes and spend the night in a luxury desert camp under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Jeep Excursion – Dades Gorges
Wake up early for a magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, take a Jeep excursion to visit local nomads and explore the black desert and oasis villages. reach Dades Gorges for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, journey back to Marrakech through the spectacular landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. continuing to Marrakech, arriving in the evening.
