Start your day with an early morning bullet train from Rome to Florence, where you’ll meet our driver just outside the station.
Begin your journey through the iconic Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rolling hills, historic villages, and world-class wines.
Your first stop is Montepulciano, where you’ll explore an ancient underground part of the city and enjoy a wine & food tasting.

Next, head to the picturesque village of Pienza, famous for its Pecorino cheese and charming alleys. Here, you’ll enjoy a seasonal lunch with a view (available April to October), surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Tuscan countryside.

In the afternoon, visit a renowned Brunello winery in Montalcino for a guided vineyard and cellar tour, followed by a premium tasting.
Travel in comfort throughout the day aboard a premium minivan with an English-speaking driver. After your final toast, you’ll be taken back to Florence train station to catch your high-speed train back to Rome.

Meeting point

Head to Rome train station and board the train to Florence on your own (tickets will be sent the day before). In case of train delay, the driver will wait in Florence, but the itinerary may be adjusted—some stops may be shortened, rescheduled or skipped to ensure timely return to the station.

    Stazione Roma Termini

    Head to Roma Termini train station and board the bullet train (economy) to Florence on your own (we’ll send the tickets the day before departure). Train is departing at 6:40AM, please, arrive 15 minutes earlier. If you’d like to stay in Florence at the end of the tour, you’re welcome to bring your luggage and store it in our van. Just let us know a few days in advance.

    Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station

    Once you arrive at Florence train station, exit through the main entrance, turn right, and meet our driver and minivan in front of the ODS store.

    In Montepulciano, you’ll be guided through a fascinating historic cellar known as “The Underground City,” located beneath a traditional local wine shop. At the end of the visit, you’ll enjoy a tasting of local wines and regional food specialties.

    Pienza

    Arrive in Pienza and enjoy a delicious 3-course meal, including wine and water, served in a charming garden with a stunning view over the Val d’Orcia (available from April to October). During the colder months, lunch will be served indoors in a cozy setting. After lunch, enjoy some free time to explore the lovely town of Pienza at your own pace—wander through its historic center, take in the breathtaking viewpoints, and visit the renowned Pecorino cheese shops.
