At the end of the guided tour you'll have some free time to enjoy the city In this small center – propped up on the slopes of Mount Subasio – everything in sight seems to refer to the Saint, even if it is only remotely relevant to his life. Together with almost all its surrounding territory, Assisi was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 2000. UNESCO describes Assisi as constituting a unique example of continuous history, as a city-sanctuary, from its Umbrian-Roman origins, through the Middle Ages and up to today.

Both outside and inside this church, you can track interventions and works by Lorenzo Maitani, Andrea Pisano, Luca Signorelli, Beato Angelico and Benozzo Gozzoli. Enjoy your free time as you like, visiting the churches, the famous well, wonder around or just have a seat and enjoy a glass of wine in front of the amazing Duomo.
