The Eynif Valley is known for its flora and wild horses. Here you can see these animals up close and take photos.
Boat trip in the cave: The lake in the Altinbesik cave "the golden cradle" is the 3rd largest cave lake in the world. With the rubber dinghies you drive into the cave. The huge entrance to the cave is in the Altinbesik National Park, 60 km north of Side, near Ormana. A highlight for the Ormana area. The entrance to the cave can be reached via a mountain road from Ürünlü, the neighboring village of Ormana. The ride itself is fun because of the great view of the valley below and the Manavgat River. Yes, the water from the cave flows into the Manavgat River, which flows through a steep valley towards the sea.
Ormana is a small Ottoman mountain village, 80 kilometers north of Manavgat - in the Taurus Mountains. The oldest houses in Ormana date back to the 17th century. So some of the houses are 300 years old. It is impressive that the button houses have been standing for so long. After all, they consist only of stones stacked on top of one another - without cement and boards in between for stabilization.
