Live a moving experience that contrasts the past of the Civil War with today’s peace. In Cinquera, we will explore the Ecological Forest, former guerrilla stronghold. Guided by local protagonists of the conflict (1980 - 1992), you will discover trenches, rebuilt camps and the famous 'Vietnamese Cuisine' under the jungle.

Then we will change scenery towards Suchitoto, the cultural capital. We will walk its cobblestone streets and colonial church, ending with a gourmet coffee in the historic 'House of Grandma'.

    We will start with a historic dive. Accompanied by a local guide, we will walk along trails surrounded by lush nature that once served as a refuge. You will learn about the history of resistance in the village, see the wreckage of a downed helicopter and understand how the community transformed grief into environmental conservation.

    Short stop in the center of the village to see the church (famous for having queues of bombs defused like bells) and the murals that narrate the historical memory. We will enjoy a lunch included in a local restaurant.
