-Transform your handmade bead into a necklace, creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake to take home.
-Visit Shinodamori Shrine, admire its sacred camphor tree, and receive a special blessing and purification from the chief priest. (not included for the option without the shrine blessing experience)

What to expect

・Shinodamori Shrine: Worship, Prayer, and Purification (40 mins)
Visit the local shrine and take part in the worship. The chief priest will personally offer prayers and purification for your health and happiness.
(This is Only for Shrine Bless Plan)

・Satake Glass Studio: Observation of the Production Process (20 mins)
Satake Glass is a long-established glass studio, at this historic studio (National Important Cultural Property), you can observe the glass rod production process up close. You will also have the chance to experience cutting glass rods under the guidance.

・Satake Glass Studio: Glass Bead Making (70 mins)
Melt glass rods to create your own glass bead, and design your own patterns on the molten bead.
Even beginners can enjoy, professional craftsmen will guide you through each step.

・Satake Glass Studio: Exhibition Viewing (15 mins)
While waiting for your glass bead to cool, you can visit the gallery area where various glass artworks are displayed. The works made by professional artisans, and available for purchase.

・Satake Glass Studio: Necklace Assembly (15 mins)
After your glass bead is ready, thread it with a cord to complete your necklace.
