Borjomi-Akhaltsikhe-Vardzia tour includes to visit Borjomi mineral water park and a lot of historical places in Javakheti region: Atskuri fortress, Akhlatsikhe fortress, Khertvisi fortress, Vardzia Rock Cut City. Borjomi is located in South part of Georgia. In Borjomi you can walk in forest reserve and drink mineral water. Akhaltsikhe is a town with big fortress in Southern Georgia, founded in Middle Ages. Tourists will visit also an ancient fortress of Atskuri and Khertvisi fortresses constructed on the top of the hills in the X century. The final destination of the tour is Vardzia, an impressive cave town founded by King George III in the XII century. During its golden time it accommodated around 20.000 people. It was demolished by Mongols in XV century.
