After exploring the herd, warm up inside a cozy gamme with hot drinks and cookies around the fire. Your Sámi guide will share captivating stories about their heritage and life as reindeer herders, concluding with a beautiful traditional joik. This unique experience is perfect for those wanting a taste of Sámi culture without a full-day commitment.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Our guides will meet you directly at the bus platforms. If you do go to the wrong entrance at the terminal, go to the ground floor at the terminal and exit to the bus platforms. Please look out for our pick up guides who will be wearing blue company jackets
What to expect
After a 35-minute drive along the coast, we arrive at camp, where a large herd of reindeer will be waiting for you. You'll feed them by hand and get a go at traditional lasso-throwing.
Need to warm up? Head into our gamme (a traditional wooden building) for hot drinks and cookies — tea, coffee and hot chocolate are on offer the whole visit.
We'll end the day in the lavvu, gathered around the fire, listening to stories about Sami culture and life as a reindeer herder. Your guide will finish with a joik, a traditional Sami song.
