This five day independent tour offers the best the North Island has to offer. The tour includes the Bay of Islands with Hole in the Rock cruise and guided tours of Russell and Waitangi. The tour then returns to Auckland for one night prior to travelling through to Hobbiton where a guided tour of this world renown attraction has been arranged for your enjoyment. From Hobbiton the tour travels through to Rotorua and its geothermal attractions, here you will enjoy a guide tour of the Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley and its Living Maori Village. This attraction will also include a Haka Performance. On the final day of this 5 day adventure you will visit the famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves with a guided boat tour through the glowworm grotto. Four star hotel accommodation and transportation included.

Depart Auckland and travel north by coach via the Hibiscus Coast with its golden sand beaches, through Whangarei and arrive in the beautiful township of Paihia, Bay of Islands.

By ferry you will be transported from Paihia to Russell a beautiful township immediately across the bay from Paihia. Russell being the original capital of New Zealand. In Russell a tour of the township has been arranged for your enjoyment. In Russell you will join a Mini Tour of the township.

From Russell you will join a three hour nature cruise to the famous Hole in the Rock, weather and sea conditions permitting you will sail through the hole. On the cruise you will often site dolphins and numerous sea birds. 3 hours , The cruise is included in the tour package

This morning transferred from your accommodation to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds,Tour the Waitangi Treaty Grounds the site of the historic treaty between the Maori and European pioneers.
