Today, Sunset Plaza is known for the real estate offices of the Oppenheim Group, the stars of the Netflix show "Selling Sunset". A hundred years ago, Sunset Plaza was just being developed and was still surrounded by oranges and lima beans. Over the next century, movie stars and mobsters would run bars, clubs, gambling dens, commit insurance fraud, blow up buildings, and go home with a frozen steak over a black eye after getting too rowdy in the nearby celebrity apartments.
Our most murder filled true crime tour ends by the Viper Room to remember River Phoenix and to discuss the dangers (and allure) of the Hollywood lifestyle!
