    Day 1

    Day 1: Discover the Mursi and Hamar Tribes – A Fascinating Cultural Experience in the Omo Valley

    Jinka

    Jinka – Turmi – HAMAR TRIBE (overnight camping with the tribe ) Pick you up from jinka airport excursion to a Mursi village (approx 66km from Jinka).They live in the mago national park. You will be able to meet the Mursi. They are renowned for wearing large lip plates!! and ear lobe plates. Mursi men drink blood more than eating meat,because they dont need to kill their cow to harvest the blood. They take blood from the cow, by making a hole in the vane with a small arrow, then they stop the blood from running with their traditional medicine! The cows wound heals very fast! You will see when mursi man take his breakfast from his own cow. Maybe if there is a donga fight, you will see the stick fighting (donga fight) in Mursi! After lunch in jinka drive to visit the Hamar people who are well known for the scarring of their bodies, using clay to shape their hairstyles, and the unique practice of “bull-jumping” which every young man must accomplish prior to marriage.

    Day 2: Explore the Karo, Nyangatom, and Dassanech Tribes – A Cultural Journey in the Omo Valley

    Early morning after breakfast make an excursion(1hour 40 minute drive) to visitthe Karo korcho another Omo Valley tribe that settled on the shores of the Omo River. The Karoos are agro-pastoralists and considered to be the master of body painters.After make an excursion(1:30 minute drive) to Nyangatom tovisit Bumé Nyangatom people Well they are known by body beadsdecorations and there body scarification. After lunch this afternoon we will attend the biggest omo valley tribes Market in Turmi Hamar tribe village.After the market drive 1 and half hour to Omo rate which is found East of the Omo River nearby by lake Turkana, we cross Omo River by thetraditional dassanech local boats made from big fig tree and walk 20 minute tothe Dassanech tribal village. Dassench people are also known for their body painting and body scarification.

    Day 3: Visit the Arbore Tribe & Afternoon Airport Drop-Off – A Perfect Farewell to the Omo Valley

During our visit, we will have the opportunity to learn about their unique culture, traditions, and beliefs, and meet some of the most captivating members of the tribe. After your lunch, we will continue our journey to **Jinka Airport** for your scheduled afternoon flight to Addis Ababa.
