What to expect
[Discounted Family Surf Lessons for four or more people]
We start with a warm welcome and a family-friendly safety briefing, followed by an introduction to ocean awareness, paddling, and standing up on the board—all demonstrated step-by-step on the sand.
Then, head to the shallow waters where your Surfing New Zealand-certified instructor will guide and cheer you on as you ride the waves.
With small group sizes (max 8 participants per instructor), every family member gets personalised tips and encouragement to make the most of their time in the water.
We provide all the equipment you’ll need, including surfboards and wetsuits.
Just bring your swimwear, towels, sunscreen, and plenty of enthusiasm! Suitable for ages 10+ with basic swimming ability.
